I was honoured to be asked to host the 2007 Annual Barbecue at Chez Moi this year and here I am early on the morning after not a hangover to be seen anywhere. I was so busy enjoying myself I just forgot to have much in the way of liquid sustenance.

It was just so great to have everyone around and the weather was, in Big Trev parlance, relatively good considering what we have been having recently, the light rain held off until the end. A special thanks to John and Marilyn for helping to organise it all, thanks to Mike and everyone else who helped with the clearing up and a big thanks to you all for coming along.

I have not tried to touch up the photos and remove the spots of rain which landed on the lens - in one case in particular they add to the fun!!

I must dive into the kitchen now and prepare my breakfast which will consist of 19 beefburgers, 22 hot dogs,14 chicken drumsticks, a large bowl of salad followed by a gateau and lashings of cream.
