I remember the time, long ago, when all traffic came through the town and Brecon was always a bottleneck, this street is not just an odd street that I have picked just to make a point, it is typical. Today's buses and lorries would not have a chance of getting through. Thankfully there is now a by-pass and the bus station is just on the edge of the town centre. I have long been under the impression that the internet with its search engines and millions of people eager to cram it full of all sorts of knowledge of varying quality was unbeatable when you are looking for an answer but I have just found its shortcoming! It does not yield the date that the by-pass was built. So, completely useless!!
