page). To the right you will see the bridge over the river Honddu
and that leads me very cleverly to the explanation of Brecon's Welsh
name. In most cases places beginning with Aber are by the sea because
'aber' means 'the mouth of', but Brecon is miles from the sea so
how can that be? |
