Many
many years ago when I was a little boy with short grey trousers
and scabby knees I lived just over a mile from here. The chapel's
origins are unclear but it is thought to date from the 12th century
when many churches were built in stone under the patronage of
Gruffudd ap Cynan. There was a sort of a lull at that time - the
Vikings had retreated back to their base in Dublin and the Normans
had given up trying to grab Anglesey.
