After the
long clear road we enter a forested part and on our left there
is a small parking area where I know we can have a good, high
view of the lake and here it is. Now just to emphasise the fact
that landscapes are always changing I can tell you that just a
few years ago I stood a few yards back from where I took this
and enhanced the view with a young silver birch tree in the foreground.
Today however I have to stand in front of it because in the elapsed
time it has grown substantially and is now far too tall for its
own good. All this just shows how important it is to take again
what you think is the same photo each time you visit an area.
Sometimes you can be quite surprised at the difference
