When you get to the watershed you start going down the Ystwyth valley and you begin to see signs of industry. This is Cwmystwyth. A quiet little hamlet now but quite a bit of mining went on here extracting silver, lead and zinc, evidence shows mining going back to the Bronze Age and up to the early 20th century.
