When you consider the massive scale of the Elan Valley reservoir complex you have to wonder just where that water comes from considering how little rain we get in Wales! It is because the area is so vast and what little rain we get is held in the sponge-like property of the landscape. You can roam freely, but responsibly, in the area, listen to skylarks singing high up in the sky, gaze at red kites soaring effortlessly on the breeze and wonder at their grace and agility.
When city life, or even just life, gets too much then head for here and go for a long stress-busting walk.
