We have almost reached the Claerwen dam now and I have very kindly stopped to show you this series of waterfalls so wander over to the side of the road to gaze at it, take care though the drop is steep. We carry on to the dam but with no warming light it is looking moody and somewhat satanic, so we return to the main complex and make our way to higher Penygarreg reservoir.
