A bit further up the river I caught sight of this little group. I am by no means an expert on fungi and I am hopeless at identifying them but they make wonderful subjects and it seems that they seem to have a great power to be invisible to some people. On this occasion I had my camera mounted on the tripod and pointed at this little group, the distance was about two feet. A couple of walkers stopped by the side of me and asked me what I was hoping to photograph - I was tempted to say something silly!
