Sadly the canal has had to give up some parts to accommodate the main road up the valley and the busier A465 to Hirwaun, as a consequence we are denied the facility to have canal trips up the full length of the valley. Shorter trips are available nearer to Neath but with only the one boat. I keep telling myself I shall take a trip and perhaps this will be the year that I do.
