I cross the bridge to get the view of the old slate quay from the southern side. This is the final part of the river Seiont before it meets the salt water of the Strait. The slate that was exported from Caernarfon was from the Dyffryn Nanlle quarries, now you can walk or cycle along the old railway line in a completely traffic free environment.
