The clue is
in the title, yes they made bricks here and they would have been
shipped out by sea from the quay here. Across the water and into
the strait itself slate would have been the main outgoing cargo
and I had made it my intention to search out the quay serving
the Penrhyn quarries and I make a rather exciting discovery. There
is a cycle track from the quay following the old mineral railway
through Bethesda and on to Ogwen lake. I also think I shall bite
the bullet and buy that bike I have had my eye on for a few months.
