When you get
to here the only way is back, unless you want to get your feet
wet. But don't be in a hurry to leave, have a quick bump around
on the dodgems or, just for a change try your arm on the slot
machines but don't expect to make your fortune, one arm bandits
only exist to entice you to part with your change.
While you are here you can indulge in a bit of entertainment history
because Llandudno's pier is home to Britain's oldest Punch and
Judy show. It was established here by Richard Codman in 1860,
I believe he has died since. He carved his puppets out of driftwood
that he found on the beach and those same puppets are the ones
used today. Why did he settle in Llandudno? Simply because his
horse died and he couldn't afford another, its a fascinating story
and told very well on this
