Newgale is protected by a large stony bank which had witheld the heavy winter seas until two winters ago when it was breached and the sea flooded through. That was the winter that Aberystwyth promenade was completely wrecked but these are seaside resorts that bring in income and provide employment during the summer months and as we know - Money makes Miracles! By the time summer and its eager visitors arrived all was back to normal.

Thankfully and miraculously!
