Just a little bit further on from the stone circle I find this bit of decoration. I say decoration because I looked at it for a while and tried to work out if it was intended to be a kind of sculpture to remind passing walkers that the land has a history which has been forgotten in these days of modern machinery. I quickly give it a thumbs up of approval and gingerly make my way back on the muddy path, thunder and lightning was getting closer bringing with it a goodly portion of rain.
