These two very tired horses and riders come ashore after a very long journey. They told me that they had booked the ferry at Rosslare but got there too late. The Ferry had gone. There are many positive qualities of the Irish, chief among them is determination, they have arrived on foot and made good time too. Just 20 minutes after they came ashore the ferry berthed at Pembroke Dock!
Now isn't that admirable! Three cheers for the Irish!
