This Christmas we took a cottage at Little Haven on the west Pembrokeshire coast, arriving on the Saturday afternoon and content just to sit around enjoying the tranquility of our own company. The following morning we were up with the half frozen lark and on our way to St Davids Cathedral for the morning service. It was full, with many children sporting their newly acquired presents. Lots of 'Happy Christmas' wishes from people we didn't know and possibly will never see again but no matter - the sentiment was genuine. We sang with Gusto and several others and at one time there was a danger that the ceiling was about to be breached.
