I had been to Beaumaris and was making my way back towards Menai Bridge, the road is windy and can be quite busy but I managed to find a convenient lay-by with an unobstructed view of Bangor pier. It had been an enjoyable morning, as you can see the Strait was very calm, I stayed a while just enjoying the tranquility but finally my stomach started to tell me that lunchtime was approaching - and I knew just the place to head for!
