The afternoon had presented me with superb views of gorse hedges between Llandysul and Synod Inn but in the evening sun the gorse was positively glowing. I just had to park up and walk back for this. A bite to eat then just beyond Bow Street and I was on my way again,through, or past, Dolgellau it was getting darker as I went through Coed y Brenin so I decided to park up just before Porthmadog. At 4.00am I was awake and ready to go and I reached Caernarfon before I saw a single car.
That's the way to travel!
