The intention
was to wander up to north Wales in the campervan early on the
monday morning savouring the beautiful weather and stopping in
some layby for the night. It didn't quite turn out like that because
the morning woke up in a miserable mood but it had promised to
cheer itself up by early afternoon so I spent a few hours catching
up with things that needed to be done. By about 1.00pm I was away,
it was Bank Holiday Monday but I kept off the busy roads and once
I had got past Carmarthen and heading north the queues were just
subjects in a traffic report. I reached Aberaeron, mooched about
for a bit before setting off again and stopped at the layby on
the top of the hill, this delightful scene was waiting for me.
It wasn't long before I was joined by a fellow traveller in need
of water for a cup of tea, I obliged and we chatted, he was from
Pembrokeshire and I learned of his adventures in his campervan.
