Brecon,
or Aberhonddu as it is known in Welsh. Now you may think that
it is curious that Brecon should be Aber anything because hadn't
you always noticed that Aber seems to be a seaside prefix? Well,
aber means 'the mouth of' so Aberhonddu means the mouth of the
Honddu - and there it is, where the Honddu meets the Wye.
And
remember you got that information from Aber Bob.
