An old tree stump at Tregib wood and an example of nature's knack of ensuring that nothing goes to waste. In its day the tree that this trunk supported took its nourishment from the earth beneath and from the light above, now the process is being reversed so that life can continue. It shows that when our demands on nature are reasonable then life can go on for ever.
