This time a wood owned by the Woodland Trust. It is a wood where old, fallen trees have been allowed to remain where they have fallen and all around is evidence of nature's skill in absorbing and regenerating itself. Amazing mosses and fungi are everywhere. It can be a bit muddy but boardwalks are in the process of being constructed. Well worth a visit, it is near Llandeilo and on the road between Ffairfach and Bethlehem.
