Dafydd ap Gwilym, a great and prolific 14th century poet, received a boost to the volume of his life's work after Iolo generously put quill to paper and set about to create poetry in the style of the great bard. Iolo published these along with Dafydd's own work in 'Barddoniaeth Dafydd ap Gwilym' (The Poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym).
No-one was any the wiser which goes to show how talented were Iolo and his assistant Laudanum!
