A bit further
on there is a crossroads and a phone box, naturally one of the
old red types, quite probably still fitted with buttons A and
B. Some short distance behind there is a waterfall and I had it
in mind to take a photo of it but the area was crowded with workmen
sitting in their van having their lunch so I felt it would be
unfair to disturb them. It will still be there next time. There
is a short and narrow windy hill and it is necessary to clear
the distance in the least amount of time, reversing would not
be easy. Fortunately everything is clear. Soon a new track appears
on our left, an access track into the forrest for the logging
lorries but there is a sign indicating a car park. Well, isn't
curiosity an exciting thing! We find the car park but it is occupied
and noisy so just a quick look around, a photo and a hasty retreat,
I think. Again, there will be another time.
