I always keep my cap, gloves and warm waterproof top in the boot
of the car so I was mystified that the gloves were nowhere to
be seen. I was going to really need them because there was a biting
wind. With my tripod under my arm and hands stuffed in my pockets
I trudged upwards through deep snow until I reached my first location
and with freezing fingers I set up the tripod and sorted out my
shot, there was no waiting for the light - the sun was nowhere
to be seen.
The shot taken and the camera back in the bag I noticed a bulge
in one of the side pockets. My gloves! Thank goodness! ...
