Years ago
Mum and Dad and I went to a funeral in Anglesey, I was living
in the midlands at the time and I met up with them and my sister
in Dolgellau and we all travelled together. Dad wanted to make
a detour to see this church and I was reminded of holidays in
my youth where six of us travelled in a Hillman Minx, the four
of us children spotting things in our I-Spy books while Mum and
Dad were busy spotting churches. We must have visited three a
day and, lets put it this way, we didn't get as much out of it
as they did. But this time I was a grown-up and Dad's explanations
now meant more to me. As a small village church it can certainly
be called grand, and very unusual.

You may be wondering whether I convinced myself that I should
buy a new bike, well I must confess that the answer is in the
affirmative, and it is superb!!
