All the time
I have been on this road I can see a headland and I want to get
there but I have tried before and never managed. Unfortunately
I am plagued with a determined mind, the headland is on the western
mouth of the Menai Strait, I can see buildings so there must be
a road. I am glad to say that this time I'm successful and find
myself in that long car park that is Dinas Dinlle. The wind is
howling from the sea but there is a partly eroded tarmac path
that follows the coast northwards. On my right is Caernarfon
International Airport, well Terminal Three anyway and the
15.15 Virgin Atlantic is due in any minute. I am almost a mile
away from the van and I can see a large black cloud in the distance,
although I have been sensible enough to wear waterproofs arriving
back at the van soaking wet is not going to be good. I walk hastily
back and am just in time and sit smugly in the cab trying to see
through the deluge. I hear the roar of a plane and with a bit
of straining can just see the it aproaching with its undercarriage
lowered.
Wow! That was exciting!
