So its time
to saddle up again and head for
Dolgellau and I don't yet realise how tough this last part
will be. It all starts when I leave Dolgellau, I knew there was
a bit of a hill but when you are being propelled by a 2 litre
engine you have no real feeling about the never-ending quality
of the hills. I would round a corner and see the top of the hill
and down my head would go seriously believing that this was the
final climb and putting all my effort into it. But there was another
top in front of me and the sun was beating down, there was no
giving up though and I eventually reached a flat bit with a little
hill in the distance. It wasn't particularly steep but I was both
hot and exhausted, I walked up most of it. A final push and I
was back at the van and a very sweltering van at that! A thoroughly
enjoyable day!
Oh, and I forgot to say - this is Cader Idris.
