I get to the
road and take a guess as to whether I go right or left to get
to Penmaenpool where there is a joining point for the
trail and guess right, which as I learnt later turned out
to be correct, but the road had just been resurfaced with the
wet tar and gravel method. It was awful, not only was there a
good thickness of loose gravel on the line I was taking but every
car and lorry put me in a cloud of dust, after about 10 minutes
I decided that I would be safer going the other way so turned
back. I soon got onto the side road leading down to the track
but for some inexplicable reason missed the junction of the track
going up the estuary. I was heading for the bridge - not the way
I wanted to go. Turning back I picked up what I thought was the
track and followed it until I got, not only to this little cove
but to the end of the track. There was a footpath though aiming
in the right direction so I cycled along that until it became
too narrow and I had to dismount and push. This is good isn't
it!
