On the 16th August the summer had an attempt at restarting its engine, it ran for all of two days but I had to make the most of it and I had it in mind to go to the Dolgellau area and either do a circular ride from the lakes below Cader Idris along the Mawddach trail to Dolgellau or try and follow cycle route 82 which follows a drovers road called Ffordd Ddu. I could make my choice once I got there so set off early so as not to waste what was forecast to be a splendid day. I had gone through Aberaeron and was struck by this view, I know I showed you a similar one a few months ago but views are never the same and you can never be sure that you have taken the best one - yet.
