This is The
Roundhouse, and I don't want any arguments from you pedants who
insist that it should be called octagonal. Described accurately
in their brochure as 'a tiny eco cottage that is an example of
sustainable living.' I suppose you could call it the ulimate 'room
with a view'. And what a view. The thought that crossed my mind
was how ideal it would be for a photographer who planned a break
with the sole purpose of photographing the movement of stars through
the night sky, light pollution surely is very low here.
The restaurant has consistently been in the Good Food Guide since
1974 and I noticed the chalk board in the hall listing the themed
events that have taken place here - Indian, North African, Tex
Mex, Italian, Gaelic, Thai, Spanish and American Deep South. Quite
something!
Take a look at their website http://druidstone.co.uk/#intro
and as I have now descended into giving orders
here's another - Visit Pembrokeshire and visit The Druidstone!
You won't be sorry.
