The mid winter
sun does more justice to the building from the rear than from
the front. As you can see it is perched on the clifftop and looks
out over St Brides Bay, in the distance is the narrow entrance
to the creek that is Solva, going west from there is the city
of St Davids, further still you would have Ramsey Island and a
myriad of small, smaller and much smaller islands. According to
the sign at the entrance this is 'a million miles from city life'
even the hustle and bustle of crowded and clutching St Davids
where merchandise merchants throng and press their goods upon
you willing you to strike a bargain. Here you can completely relax
and gaze upon a most beautiful part of Wales, the last, and so
most splendid, of God's creations.
What about that then - I have no bias, naturally!
