I was pleased
to come across The
Old Point House, I had taken ample water with me of course
but I found the thought of a pint of orange juice and lemonade
most attractive. It was small and dark inside and as it was a
sunny day sitting outside was the best option so I chose the only
table that was unoccupied and erected the parasol, sat myself
down and took a deep swig of the sweet, lightly fizzy drink, very
nice. I was just relaxing with the warm sun on my back when a
gusty breeze caught the parasol, lifting it in the air and knocking
over my previously refreshing drink. I retrieved the parasol and
drove it firmly into the ground and debated whether to return
to the bar for a refil. I would have done had it not been for
a rather loud lady educating the surrounding crowd with dubious
facts about Wales and the Welsh.
I made silent excuses and left.
