We have now arrived at Pwlldu and what is there here? Well there are two houses, fairly substantial. This one is the old Ship Inn, the old Beaufort Inn is the one you can just see on the right hand side. There was a chap sitting in the garden enjoying the morning sun and I felt it was a bit intrusive to take a photo in the circumstances. This is the main thoroughfare by the way!

Luck and fate smiled sweetly on Heather and her husband in 1971 when the old Beaufort Inn came up for sale and it was essential that they bought it. Sometimes life is like that, so somehow they scraped up the money. Sounds easy but I'm sure it was not.
