The
Straining
Tower does exactly what it says on the tin, it strains all
the bits and pieces floating around in the water before it enters
the aqueduct and starts its 68 mile journey to Liverpool. What
I want to know is "Who clears all those bits out of the great
big collander, and how often does he have to do it?" Questions
such as this are very important as, if you want some useless information,
the waters of this reservoir get used in the making of Bombay
Sapphire Gin. Well some of it anyway!
